On Friday, June 16th, 2017, Steve Upton and Joanne Bin were pleased to attend the Convocation Ceremony for the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management (part of the event for the Centre for Construction & Engineering Technologies) at the Sony Centre.
As a member of the Board of Governors, Steve Upton as joined by Joanne Bin, a special industry guest, were delighted to be able to participate in this year’s celebrations and to witness the graduation ceremonies of TEN BOLT scholarship recipients.
Afterwards, Joanne and Steve were invited backstage, where they personally congratulated the new graduates.
It is only through the participation of all our trade and industry partners and the support of everyone at Tridel that we are able to support these youth with scholarships that will help shape their futures and connect them to future careers in the construction industry.
A breakdown of this year’s graduates:
- 8 students: Honours Bachelor of Technology – Construction Management Degree
- 1 student: Construction Engineering Technology
- 1 student: Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician
