Torino Drywall has been a long-standing supporter of BOLT by providing training and employment opportunities for youth pursuing a career in the drywall trades. Anthony Rinomato shared with us why that’s important to their company:

Why do you support BOLT?

“We believe everyone deserves an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. We are very much onboard with the BOLT mission and appreciate the value the organization is bringing to under-serviced communities. We also know well that youth are our future and we need to empower the next generation to carry the torch forward. Torino Drywall is a family business and we consider all of our team members an extension of our family; BOLT is an opportunity for us to extend our family across the GTA. Finally, we have the utmost respect for the DelZotto family and support anything they bring to the table to help our industry flourish.”

What has your experience been like training and hiring BOLT youth?

“Our experience has been nothing short of amazing. We have BOLT youth working on our current Tridel condominium projects and our foremen are very impressed with their work ethic, instincts, attention to detail and professionalism. We feel grateful that we’ve been able to play a role in introducing a number of BOLT youth into the union over the years and set them up with a good wage, benefits and pension. BOLT is proof that the construction industry doesn’t just build communities, we build lives.”
