B.O.L.T. SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES

B.O.L.T. Scholarships and Bursaries are offered directly through the B.O.L.T. Charitable Foundation and also through a number of Post-Secondary Institutions and Programs. Our trade partners work with us to identify those skilled trades which are currently experiencing shortages, in order to ensure that programs especially related to those specific trades can be effectively supported. Once B.O.L.T. scholarship recipients have completed their studies, every effort is made to help connect graduates to employment within the construction industry.

Eligibility Criteria for B.O.L.T. Scholarships:

  • Must have significant economic disadvantages or adversities
  • Open to students/youth between the ages of 18-29
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or landed immigrant living in the GTA
  • Must be a full time student in one of the designated programs (see below)
  • Must provide evidence of a sincere interest in a career in construction (could include participation in the B.O.L.T. Day of Discovery, Job Shadowing on a construction site, employment in the construction industry, completion of a high school construction program, or other to be assessed on an individual basis)
